| | Things the Left Wants Saved* | | *Except Terri "Schindler" Schiavo | How civilized the Left is. They would harvest human embryos to save a movie star. They would keep in power a modern day Stalin to bring God-less order to the Middle East where they are "not ready for democracy." They would commute a mass murderer's own death sentence to life in prison to . . . to . . . {Okay, this one I haven't quite figured out yet. I'm sure it has something to do with keeping us--the great, unwashed masses--preoccupied with keeping them locked up and on edge that the Left will let them loose on us again.} The list goes on and on. The Left, often referring to themselves as Liberals--a misnomer for their true agenda, embrace a culture of death and collectivism. There isn't much difference between their vision for humanity and a beehive, an ant hill or The Borg.?  So it comes as no surprise that the Left wants Terri "Schindler" Schiavo dead. Even if her husband stretches the definition of that marital label to mean a profiteer, an abandoner, and an adulterer, Terri's helplessness is a valuable teaching tool  for the Left to teach us all a lesson. We are suppose to stand by and watch the "judges" withhold food and water from her. The order from the queen is to banish Terri from The Village. No life is precious but the ruling class.
President Bush set out a vision for Life and Liberty for all. To press that agenda, the President had to go to war (figuratively and literally), like our Founding Fathers did, against those opposed. Question the rhetoric against Life and Liberty. Question our own passivity to the abridgement of these rights for others. Question the rhetoric to save this or that, except Terri "Schindler" Schiavo.
It is illegal to murder.* It is illegal to commit suicide.* It is illegal to starve an animal.* It is illegal to marry more than one woman.* It is illegal to prevent terrorists in custody from practicing their religion.* It is illegal to carry out a death sentence on convicted felons for all sorts of judicially decreed reasons.*
Mud Puddles are protected by government action.* Death row prisoners must be fed three meals a day.* Adultery and abandonment are grounds for divorce.*
What is legal, let alone moral, about starving Terri "Schindler" Schiavo?
